Collegio dei Filippini Picture Gallery in Agrigento
The Pinacoteca Collegio Filippini is housed in the former Collegio di San Filippo Neri in Agrigento.
The Palace was built in 1703 based on a project by the architect Simone Mancuso. During the restructuring, creases and cisterns of probable Arab origin came to light. Today the palace is home to various permanent and temporary exhibitions. The rich heritage exhibited includes paintings by Giambecchina, Lojacono, Politi and Santella.
