Archaeological Museum in Caltabellotta
The Archaeological Museum of Caltabellotta is located in the Palazzo della Signoria.
The exhibition space is divided into two small rooms.
The first exhibits the finds from one of the most important archaeological areas of Caltabellotta, the indigenous village Greek of contrada San Benedetto, from the recent Bronze Age (XII-XI century BC) until the moment of abandonment in the first half of the III century. BC
In the second room, finds from the area are exhibited, with particular regard to the Sant'Anna district, from prehistory to the Byzantine age.
