Palace of Signoria in Caltabellotta

The Palazzo della Signoria in Caltabellotta is located in the heart of the historic center of Caltabellotta and is home to the Civic Museum and the municipal representation.
The building is known as the "old prison", given its use as a prison since the unification of Italy until the early twentieth century.
The Palazzo della Signoria has a simple façade in bare stone and internally it has two levels belonging to different eras: the ground floor dating back to the seventeenth century and the upper floor dating back to the late nineteenth and early centuries of the twentieth century.
