Calvary in Castrofilippo
The Calvary in Castrofilippo is a place of worship built in 1937. Inside there are two statues of the dead Christ which are used during the celebrations of Good Friday: a simulacrum is placed in a wooden and glass urn and is carried on the shoulder during the Good Friday procession; the second simulacrum is used for the Crucifixion scene.
Inside the church there is also the new statue of Our Lady of Sorrows and the statue of St. John the Apostle.
