The Church of Carmine in Cianciana, also known as the Church of Santa Maria del Carmelo, is a small building of worship in the village.
It was built in the eighteenth century at the behest of a man named Palermo who built the church, with the help of the population, as a votive offering for the grace of his wife's recovery.
The façade has a three-lancet window placed above the portal and a bell tower placed at the top of the building.
The interior, for single nave, has the apse and the vault decorated with small floral stuccoes and frescoes by the painters Galeoto and Farruggia.
Among the works kept in the church, worthy of note are: by the artist Vincenzo Genovese: the statue of the Madonna of Rosary and the statue of Saint Lucia by the artist Vincenzo Genovese; the statue of San Francesco di Paola, the work of Girolamo Bagnasco.
