Door of Santo Rocco in Cianciana
The Portone di Santo Rocco in Cianciana is an ancient gateway to the city, the only one left.
Its history is shrouded in legend. It is said that this door stands in the place where Santo Rocco, protector of dogs, stopped to rest. The name of the entire district also derives from this legend: Contrada Santo Rocco.
