Bosco Littorio Archaeological Area in Gela
The Archaelogical Area of Bosco Littorio is an area of archaeological interest in which an Archaic Emporium has been identified.
The Emporium is made up of about ten distributed structures in the territorial radius that extends from the port to the acropolis of the Greek city. The buildings have a quadrangular shape with walls over 2 meters high and a particular entrance door made with jambs and architrave.
The Forestry Corps of the Sicilian Region is responsible for protecting the heritage and welcoming tourists who want to visit the archaeological area in Gela.
