Museum of Sea in Licata
The Museo del Mare di Licata was born on the initiative of the local Archaeological Group Finziade which, since 2012, has equipped itself with an underwater nucleus.
The recovery works, conducted under the supervision of the Superintendence of the Sea , at the site of the islet San Nicola and Secca Poliscia have brought to the surface archaeological finds dating back to the protohistoric period and the medieval age which are now in the municipal premises of the Cloister of Sant'Angelo.
