Balatazza Beach in Licata
The Spiaggia delle Balatazze is a very suggestive but not very accessible stretch of rocky coast. In this stretch of coast there is only a small beach but the shallow waters do not allow swimming. It is possible to enter the sea from the "balate", the rocks that emerge on the water, where the seabed is quite deep.
In the same area there are the coves of Contrada Nicolizia which instead offer small beaches isolated and different areas with rocks.
This stretch of coastal area is strongly recommended for lovers of snorkeling , diving and underwater fishing.
