The Roman Villa of Realmonte, also known as the Roman Villa of Durrueli, is an imperial villa dating back to the 1st century AD, located in the Punta Grande beach in Realmonte, in the Agrigento area.
The structure of the villa develops around the impluvium, located in the central courtyard adorned with columns. The various rooms are organized around it, some with a waterproofed floor with inlaid marble, others with polychrome mosaics depicting various motifs, including marine scenes and divinities. There was also: a garden bordered by a colonnade; a wall around the building of which some traces remain; and a private terrace that allowed direct access to the coast.
Behind the villa stands a thermal building dating back to the 2nd century BC.
