Rocca Sant'Elmo in Sciacca
Rocca Sant'Elmo, better known as Rocca della Regina, is a large rock located in the waters in front of the rock of San Paolo, near the port of Sciacca.
Its current appearance is due to the fact that in 1897 the stone for the construction of the cliff to defend the old port.
The name Rocca della Regina is linked to legend whose protagonist is the Norman Countess Giulietta, daughter of the Grand Count Ruggero.
