Church of the Immaculate Conception in Siculiana
The Church of the Immaculate Conception in Siculiana is an ancient building of worship in the village.
It was built in 1712 at the behest of the priest Giacomo Santalucia.
The simple gabled façade is flanked by a quadrangular bell tower divided into three orders, built in 1874.
The interior, with a rectangular plan, has side chapels created in the thickness of the walls. The hall is preceded by a vestibule above which is the choir screened by goose-breasted jealousies.
Unfortunately, the church, stripped of its sacred furnishings, is today in a state of total abandonment. p>
