Church of San Lorezo in Siculiana
The Church of San Lorezo a Siculiana, called the church of the Madonna degli Angeli until the 17th century, is the oldest building of worship in the village.
The date of construction of the church is not known but the first documents in which it is mentioned dating back to 1540.
The sacred building stands in the left wing of the Chiaramonte Castle, and has a simple gabled façade in stone.
The church was the first place of worship of the SS. Crucifix, today kept in the Sanctuary of Siculiana.
