War memorial in Siculiana
The War Memorial in Siculiana stands in the main square of the village and is dedicated to the fallen of the First World War.
The work was erected in 1927 thanks to the fundraising carried out by a Citizen Committee established with the aim of erect a place of memory.
The monument consists of a bronze statue, placed on a pedestal, which portrays a young soldier with the flag in his hands. The names of the Sicilians who fell in battle are engraved on the marble slabs.
