Piazza Pasini in Acireale
Piazza Pasini in Acireale is a small but very evocative pizza, located in the heart of the historic center of the city.
It was created at the end of the eighteenth century at the behest of Donna Maria, widow of Dr. Stefano Pasini, who obtained the authorization to demolish several small buildings, owned by him, which blocked the spaces in front of his building. The little square was thus created in 1792 based on a design by the engineer. Antonino Scalia. The small square has a characteristic cobbled floor and a fountain in the center. It is surrounded by buildings of the time, of particular value is the home of the engineer. Mariano Panebianco, designed by him in 1888, located on the East and South side.
