Church of San Leo in Belpasso
The Church of San Leo in Belpasso is a rural church located in the hamlet of Segreta.
The Church stands in the place where an ancient millstone once stood and was built in 1988.
The structure is built in blocks of lava stone and mortar. It has a simple gabled façade with a wooden loggia in front. The portal is enriched with lava stone columns.
The interior has a rectangular hall and a characteristic wooden truss roof. The altar was created using an ancient counterweight from the ancient millstone.
