Scrofani Palace in Belpasso
Palazzo Scrofani in Belpasso is a fine example of civil architecture in Baroque style.
It was built at the beginning of the eighteenth century following the calamitous events that destroyed the ancient town centre.
The building has typical elements in baroque style: the long façade is characterized by its articulated balconies with wrought iron railings. The imposing lava stone portal stands out, surmounted by the main balcony with shelves with grotesque masks and anthropomorphic figures.
