Cinema Museum in Catania
The Cinema Museum of Catania, at the Le Ciminiere Cultural Center, extends over an area of 900 square meters and takes particular care of the activities and services for educational and tourist visits.
The Museum collects, increases and proposes to the public the documents concerning the cinematographic art, its techniques and its history, with particular regard to the relationship between Cinema and Sicily.
The Cinema Museum exhibits photos of the sets during the shooting of films that have a profound relationship with the island and with contemporary Sicilian literature: they are films by Rossellini, Visconti, Bolognini, Antonioni, Germi, Rosi, Pasolini and others.
