You can admire birds such as the fighter, the redshank and the knight of Italy. In the areas of the lakes herons, wild geese, ducks and lapwings. The oasis has also become home for the Caretta Caretta turtle. It has a thick vegetation of marsh reeds, tamarisk and olive trees. Along the dunes that flank the sandy coasts, a vegetation of matting joints, narrow-leaved bones, common willows and common limonium grows. There are also pine and eucalyptus groves.
