San Giovanni Li Cuti in Catania
San Giovanni li Cuti is the name of the small seaside village of Catania with one of the most famous beaches in the city.
What was once a fishing village has now been incorporated into the metropolitan area but this has not taken away its charm at all. Upon entering, you immediately perceive a different identity from that of the rest of the city: the houses are low, well-kept, with pretty doors and balconies decorated with succulent plants. The bright colors amaze, as if the architecture of San Giovanni Li Cuti wanted to refer to the courageous shades of the wooden boats that dominate the marina. In addition to this, the dark color of the black rocks and gray sand of volcanic origin stand out, making the water an intense blue color.
