Church of Jesus and Mary in Linguaglossa
The Church of Jesus and Mary in Linguaglossa is a small seventeenth-century building of worship.
The building, located on a higher floor than the road surface, is accessible via a staircase.
The simple façade hut has a single portal surmounted by a small floral bas-relief and a cross. The bell tower, inserted into the facade, rises on the left side.
The interior, with a single nave with a barrel vault, has only the main altar, without the tabernacle; the side altars have disappeared.
Among the works kept inside the church we remember: the statue of the Madonna with Child and the Sacred Heart, the statue of the Child Jesus of Prague and a Crucifix with Our Lady of Sorrows and Saint John the Apostle.
