Church of San Rocco in Linguaglossa
The Church of San Rocco in Linguaglossa is one of the oldest buildings of worship in the village.
It was built at the beginning of the seventeenth century in the place where, according to popular devotion, there was a small altar dedicated to the saintly miracle worker. Over the centuries it has undergone various renovations.
The rectangular façade is framed by two pilasters. In the center there is the portal surmounted by a lunette window, in the upper part the bell tower with six lights.
The interior, with a single nave, houses some valuable works: the statue of San Rocco from 1891 and the statue of Madonna of the Rosary from the late eighteenth century, originally preserved in the church of SS. Annunziata.
