Church of S. Placido and S. Maria del Carmelo in Milo
The Church of San Placido and Santa Maria del Carmelo in Milo is a religious building located in the village of Praino.
It was built at the end of the 17th century.
The simple rectangular façade has a portal surmounted by a round arch opening, and is surmounted by a small belfry flanked by two spiers.
The interior, with a single nave, houses the relics of the Blessed Virgin Mary authenticated in 1736, and of San Placido authenticated in 1828.
Among the noteworthy works kept in the church are: a wooden crucifix and the paintings of San Placido and Santa Maria del Monte Carmelo dating back to the 17th century.
