Madonna delle Grazie Church in Motta Sant'Anastasia
The Church of the Madonna delle Grazie in Motta Sant'Anastasia, or Church of Santa Maria delle Grazie, is a small and ancient building of worship located along the ancient road to the castle.
The date of its construction is not known original building but it is certain that it existed in 1655: in the diocesan archive of Catania it is attested that at that time there existed, in addition to the matrix, two other buildings of worship, one of which was dedicated to the Madonna delle Grazie. The current building dates back to the eighteenth-century reconstruction following the earthquake of 1693.
The simple gabled façade has a closing pedimental triangle. The trabeated portal in lava stone ashlars is surmounted by an oval window.
The interior has a single nave.
