Museum of Peasant Civilization in Nicolosi
Casa Museo della Civiltà Contadina di Nicolosi, located a few steps from the main square of the town, is a museum dedicated to the arts, habits and customs of the inhabitants belonging to the local peasant civilization. The museum has reconstructed the environments in which peasant activities took place and exhibits the tools used in work and daily life during the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. Inside the museum house there is a kitchen in which you can see the old stoves and a series of baking utensils, a small room for toilets and two bedrooms. In addition to the furnishings, the rooms also display a wooden weaving loom, a sewing machine, an ancient suspended cradle and various popular religious objects.
