Piano Provenzana Etna Refuge
The Tourist Resort of Piano Provenzana Etna Nord is located on the north side of Etna, at an altitude of 1,810 meters above sea level, in the territory of Linguaglossa. It represents a starting point for various treks, from the craters of the 2002 eruption to the Timparossa beech forest. In winter, the resort has slopes for skiing, cross-country skiing, ski mountaineering and snowboarding. The ski resort is served by 4 ski lifts: three ski lifts and a four-seater chairlift.
