Etna Sapienza Refuge
The Tourist Station Rifugio Sapienza Etna Sud is located at an altitude of 1,910 meters above sea level. on the southern side of Etna, north of Nicolosi. The Montagnola can be reached at an altitude of 2500 meters through the cable car systems of the Etna cable car and with the 4 × 4 vehicles of the cable car it is possible to continue up to an altitude of 3,000 meters, in the area of the former refuge of Torre del Philosopher. Accompanied by expert guides and according to the ordinances of access to the summit altitudes, it is possible to reach the summit craters and visit spectacular places with unique views. In the Etna Sud tourist resort area it is possible to take advantage of various services and experience various activities.
