Toscano Palace in Pedara
Palazzo Toscano in Pedara is one of the most important civil buildings of the Etna village.
It was built in the second half of the 19th century and occupies, with its long façade, a considerable stretch of the main street of Pedara.
The façade is characterized by a rhythmic sequence of openings. The main portal, and the opening above, are enriched with ashlar parapets and finishes.
The building includes a large internal garden through which you can access the historic palmento which represents the oldest part of the complex.
At the Inside, several rooms have roofs depicting mythological, anthropomorphic and floral scenes, often enriched with stucco scores, dating back to the first decades of the 20th century.
