Church of Santa Barbara in Ragalna
The Church of Santa Barbara in Ragalna is a small and simple building of worship built by popular will after the First World War. The church is also known as the new, to distinguish it from the older church of the Madonna del Carmelo.
It was built in 1937 thanks to the concrete contribution of the faithful who worked directly on the construction and who provided the stones for its completion.
The façade, in vague neo-Romanesque style, is divided into three compartments and has a central rose window and two symmetrical mullioned windows on the sides.
The interior is enriched with sacred furnishings of fine workmanship.
