Museum of Music and Lutherie in Randazzo
Museum of Music and Lutherie of Randazzo is housed in an ancient building of the thirteenth century, which on one side overlooks Via San Caterinella, in the district of San Martino, on the other protrudes over the valley of the Alcantara river and the Nebrodi mountains.
The museum exhibits over 60 carefully reconstructed musical instruments and sound objects ranging from prehistoric times to classical Greece to the Middle Ages. All the objects are played during the visit by their author, the maestro Giuseppe Severini, who also explains their origin and particularities.
