Church of Magazzeni in Sant'Alfio
The Church of Magazzeni in Sant'Alfio, also known as the public Oratory of Magazzeni, was born as a small place of worship annexed to the Cerrita fiefdom to give the custodians of the tenement, the forest rangers and the fiefdom workers. In 1958, a church-sanctuary was built next to the feudal church in memory of the town's escape from danger from the eruption of 3 November 1928.
The small sanctuary has a simple gabled facade made of red bricks and is a pilgrimage destination on November 3rd of each year.
