War memorial in Santa Venerina
The War Memorial in Santa Venerina stands on the edge of the main square of the village. The monument has a large plaque bearing the inscription: With gratitude and devotion Saint Venerina erected her best sons who believed in the perennial values of the homeland, followed by the list of soldiers dead and missing in the two wars.
In the small square in front there is a play area for children and several benches where you can enjoy the shade offered by the tall trees.
