Palace of the Princes Di Giovanni in Trecastagni
The Prinicipi Di Giovanni Palace in Trecastagni was the ordinary residence of Prince Domenico I° Di Giovanni.
It was built in 1641 but the renovations carried out over the centuries have unfortunately destroyed the ancient appearance. The prestigious residence has been used for various uses: prison, barracks and even stables. The Guard Room and the cells for the judges were in fact totally destroyed. Today the building is undergoing restoration.
The building consists of a building consisting of three floors with a noble staircase in lava stone and a large courtyard and other adjacent ancient appurtenances.
Inside they still retain traces of wall paintings.
From the large window of the staircase you can enjoy a splendid panoramic view of the town.
