The Church of S. Maria delle Grazie in Tremestieri Etneo is one of the main buildings of worship in the village.
The simple gabled façade, flanked by a bell tower with corner pilasters in lava stone, has a white stone portal of particular artistic value. It was created by Antonio Amato, a renowned sculptor from Messina, following the terrible earthquake of 1693. He took the side portal of the Church of San Domenico in Catania as a model. The portal, in Baroque style, is flanked by two imposing pilasters surmounted by the statues of Saints Peter and Paul, and is surmounted by a large window. A niche was created in the tympanum in which the statue of the Madonna delle Grazie is placed.
The interior of the church, with a single nave, features valuable frescoes.
Among the works preserved inside the church , of particular artistic value are: the paintings of San Rocco and the Madonna delle Grazie, a Crucifix of fine workmanship and the wooden ceiling of the sacristy.
