Carmine Church in Valverde
The Church of Santa Maria del Carmine is a small place of worship inserted in a group of rural houses, in the Carminello district.
It was built in 1735 and is dedicated to San Carlo Borromeo.
Inside the church are kept: canvas of the "Madonna del Carmine between S. Vincenzo Ferreri and S. Francesco di Paola", signed and dated: "L.DO Suirech Pin.bat 1765"; a canvas of St. Charles Borromeo in prayer; a valuable statue of Christ in plaster.
