Di Bella Villa Viagrande
Di Bella Villa in Viagrande is a typical summer residence of the Catania aristocracy.
Built in the 19th century, it preserves the refined furnishing and decoration elements in its large halls. The façade is characterized by the typical pink color that originates from the red earth obtained from the quarries dug at the base of the small volcanic vents.
The villa was chosen as the film set for Franco Zeffirelli's “Story of a Blackcap”.
