Romanesque Bridge in Blufi
The Roman Bridge of Blufi is an ancient bridge, still intact, which surmounts the Imera river in an area close to the Blufi hills. In the area it is known as the Roman bridge , although the origins are uncertain and much more likely they date back to the medieval age.
The three-arched bridge is surrounded by dense riparian vegetation even if in part it is buried by river debris. Under its main arch, the southern Imera still flows, giving the landscape an even more suggestive aspect.
The road leading to the bridge is partially passable by car, the last stretch can only be done on board of a four by four or on foot.
