Church of the Palmento in Castelbuono

The church of Santa Maria delle Grazie in Castelbuono, better known as the church of the Madonna del Palmento, is a place of worship in the village.
It was built in the 17th century on the site of a palmento because, according to tradition, the image of the Madonna delle Grazie kept there proved miraculous.
The building, octagonal in shape, is internally decorated with precious stuccos, even if they were partly destroyed by the collapse of the roof in the 20th century.
