Fountain of Saint Paul in Castelbuono
The fountain of Porta San Paolo, more commonly known as the Fountain of San Paolo, is an elegant Baroque-style fountain located at the entrance to the city.
It was designed in 1633 by master Antonino Conforto to decorate the large Garden of Ventimiglia in Piano Marchese. It was placed in the external area of Porta San Paolo, in perfect axis with the light of the door.
The fountain has a basin with a polylobed plan and a curved profile.
