Castellana Sicula represents a center of attraction for numerous Italian and foreign artists, who over the years have frescoed and painted the corner walls of the houses, creating a sort of open-air museum.
Because of this characteristic, the city of Castellana Sicula has been called, since 1994, City of murals.
