Mora Fountain in Collesano
The Mora fountain in Collesano is the most important fountain, among the many present in the area, both from a historical point of view and for the sense of belonging it has for the locals.
The structure dates back to 1835 and the Its name is linked to the fact that there were several blackberry trees in this area, some of which still survive. This place, a meeting center for the inhabitants of Collesano, has undergone several changes over time. Originally there were two fountains and a trough. One of the two fountains was later stolen and then recovered and placed at the entrance to the town along Via Vincenzo Florio.
