Municipal Palace in Collesano
The Town Hall of Collesano is one of the most important civil buildings in the village.
It was built around the middle of the 16th century at the behest of Countess Susanna Gonzaga. It was the seat of the Dominican convent until 1869, and was then restructured to be used as a municipal seat.
The current neo-Gothic façade dates back to the restructuring that took place in 1769.
The halls of the building house numerous paintings on wood and on canvas by contemporary artists. Inside the building there is also the "Sala dei Sindaci" which houses works by the local woodcarver Pino Valenti.
