Church of the SS. Trinity in Gangi

The Church of the SS. Trinità a Gangi is a small church building located on the western slope of Monte Marone, at the northern end of the town.
It was built in the second half of the nineteenth century on the remains of a small pre-existing church building. It underwent major renovations in 1910.
The building stands in the center of a circular paved clearing, bordered by stone walls. It is accessed via a staircase also in carved stone.
The simple gabled façade, in stone, has a portal with a round arch surmounted by a circular opening. The façade is crowned by two bell towers, each with an arch containing the bell, placed at the two ends and by a stone cross in a central position.
The interior, with a single nave, houses: a large painting on canvas of the SS. Trinità, work of the Archpriest D. Epifanio Andaloro, placed on the main altar; and the wooden statue of the Madonna del Parto, placed on the side altar.
