Piano Sempria in Madonie
Piano Sempria , in the Parco delle Madonie , is located at 1260 m above sea level near Castelbuono. The Francesco Crispi refuge built by the Sicilian Alpine Club has been located on the Sempria floor since 1973. From the structure it is possible to make beautiful walks through the woods of centuries-old maples , oaks and centuries-old beeches among the most majestic of the Madonie.
