Bridge of San Brancato in Madonie Park
The Ponte di San Brancato is an ancient stone bridge immersed in the Parco delle Madonie . The bridge crosses the Mandarini stream which, right under the bridge, has formed a large body of water, the "gorga", which makes the landscape extremely suggestive.
The road and the bridge, in the past, were of great importance, as they were part of the network of trazzere palaces.
The water flow of the Mandarini river is continuous throughout the year, for this reason the "gorga" is a valid alternative to cool off on hot summer days.
