Piazza del Popolo in Petralia Soprana
The Piazza del Popolo in Petralia Soprana , known locally as the "old vucciria", is a large quadrangular square whose current layout dates back to 1929, when the ancient Carmel church was razed to the ground . In the center it houses a bronze monument by Antonino Ugo, dedicated to the fallen of all wars. At the base of another marble stele the altar of the Fatherland is symbolized, depicting the hero, mother and son. & Nbsp;
