Carpinello Palace in Polizzi Generosa
The Palazzo Carpinello di Polizzi Generosa dominates an entire square. It was the seat of the Regia Secrezia, an office that collected taxes on behalf of the sovereign in the state-owned cities and then the home of the Carpinello barons. It stands out for its long facade and for the two characteristic sundials placed on the sides of the balcony, overlooking the main door.
