Gagliardo Palace in Polizzi Generosa
The Palazzo Gagliardo of the barons of Carpinello of Polizzi Generosa is a historic residence from the 1500s, it is an architectural jewel set in the ancient streets of Polizzi Generosa.
It was built at the behest of of the La Farina family in the 16th century, and is characterized by the typical elements of the mature Mannerist period which dates back. Of the ancient architecture of the sixteenth-century building still remain today the masonry, the three imposing cantonal ashlars and the splendid portal made with local sandstone decorated with precious carvings.
