Ventimiglia Palce in Finale - Pollina
Palazzo Ventimiglia in Pollina is the historic building of the village of Finale, the first residential nucleus developed around it.
It was built in 1700 at the behest of the Marquis of Geraci who used the palace as a summer residence and for control the harvest that was harvested in his vast possessions. After the fall of the Ventimiglia family, the palace passed to Baron Michele Collotti of Castelbuono, it was then inherited by his son who had to give it up due to a loss during a card game and was purchased, over the years, by various noble families.
Today the building, privately owned, is in a terrible state of conservation. Unfortunately little remains of its original beauty even if the steps, steps and wrought iron railing still retain their eighteenth-century appearance.
