Conche Tower in Pollina
The Conche Tower in Pollina, also known as Stone of the Ship, stands in a splendid panoramic position overlooking the sea.
The tower was built for defensive purposes in 1595, coeval with the nearby Torre del Marchese in Finale.
The Tower is in a good state of conservation, only at the end part of the wall has collapsed.
Inside there is a single room with a fireplace, a clay pipe for the flow of rainwater to the cistern and a staircase obtained in the thickness of the wall.
